Ginger is often known for its great soothing properties, easing away upset stomachs and calming nerves as a delicious tea or a great candied snack.
Ginger has also been found to contain several anti-cancer properties, making it an excellent preventative.
But, its healing powers don’t end there.
Several studies indicate that ginger root can actually fight and kill cancer cells in ovarian, prostate and colorectal cancers. Studies also show that ginger does not harm healthy cells, making it superior to its conventional counterparts, chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
Angiogenesis the medical term used to describe the onset of cancer. Ginger has also been found to be an effective anti-angiogenic by literally stopping cancer cells from continuing to grow. That sounds pretty good; it kills cancer cells and stops them from continuing to grow.
With almost zero side affects, and the fact that it doesn’t poison patients, what’s not to like?
