One of my biggest struggles when it comes to weight loss is my sweet tooth. I’ll spend the entire day eating healthy, and following my meal plans. But once I’m finished with dinner and bedtime is drawing near, the sugar cravings begin.
I usually give in and eat some dessert because I’ve been strong all day, and my family is usually actively indulging their own sweet-teeth by then, which can makes it harder to stay strong.
Food cravings can be some of the biggest detriments to your weight loss journey, and many spend their entire day fighting them. Often this leads to diet pills and appetite suppressants, which can have an adverse effect on your health. If only there were a way to curb those cravings in a natural, healthy way!

You read that right! There are certain smells that trigger a feeling of satiety, calm your nerves, and give you energy!
According to an article titled How to Use Essential Oils Against Cravings for Weight Loss published by Real Foods Witch, peppermint, grapefruit, bergamot, tangerine, orange, ylang ylang, and patchouli have all been proven to aid people in their weight loss journeys for their various medicinal and therapeutic qualities.
From physically helping your body burn off the fat, to calming your nerves and making you feel full when you are craving a cookie after dinner, aromatherapy seems to have all the answers!
